midsummer dreams
The stories which were woven
under the mystical showers
from the Celeste star
etched across
the coy bride’s veil
she chuckles, and she revels
as the embellishments emanate
dreams, from her lovestruck eyes
her heart leaps over
the ethereal fire, burning
on this propitious Solstice
purging her pristine adoration
for a life of togetherness ahead
the heavens stood witness
as the perfect setting sun
emanates promises to keep
breeze whispers
chants and hymns
everyone bowed to the
priestess of the hemisphere
for blessing the couple
with this blissful day
of sun, life and abundance
Among many symbolic references, the summer solstice holds a significance that marrying on this day brings a bond full of happiness and prosperity.
Some people believe that making a wish or setting an intention while watching the sunrise or sunset on the summer solstice will make it come true.
