Fashion has been versatile since times immemorial, but in the present times, it is getting tougher to say whether we are changing for fashion or it is changing for us.
Fashion has been a necessity for most of us due to the explosion of the fashion extravaganza today. Females are going out of their pockets to match up the latest trends in fashion. Men are also matching up to the numbers slowly and gradually. The fashion industry has risen manifolds in terms of revenue. But things are getting out of hand, guys n gals🤷♀️.
What do you think is the root cause of this?
- Too Much Media
It all boils down to the media exposure one gets. It is like the base of a chemical reaction. The availability of limited media resources in the yesteryears contributed to the constricted knowledge of fashion in various segments and locations. But today, voila, we have a plethora of media sources like Google, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, various fashion apps and so on. Trends about fashion spread like fire on Instagram Reels. Posting on social media has become an inherent compulsion. An entire crusade of outfits and accessories is planned when you go for a holiday. We plan precariously for ensembles for a party, a dinner or even a coffee. The hashtags are the pole star of the fashion constellation!!!
